“Amazing facilities with 5 star staff who accommodated all our needs. Swimming pool was very big and was able to do laps. Only negative was the taxis who overcharged $1000 baht for a 8 mile drive to CNX. Taxis know you have no choice. All excursions using local taxis are most desired. $4000 baht for Chiang Rai, $2500 for Chiang Mai sites. Overall the resort was amazing with magical views every morning. Expecting gorillas to come out of the jungle with Jane. ”

“Let me start with good stuff - property is excellent, modern with Thai aesthetic. We were in the Napa suite which is an excellent room overlooking the forest. Really beautiful views. Staff is very friendly & nice and hospitable. Now the peeves - the breakfast is really poor, very few choices with basics like cereal missing. Second, there are no facilities in the property - for eg no spa. It doesn’t help that the property is 25km away from the city centre - it’s great for relaxing but there’s nothing else to do other than reading a book. Highly recommended if you’re self driving & want to stay away from the city centre. You’ll have to keep going back to the city to eat and get massage though - if you don’t mind that ( we didn’t particularly mind it) - then, sure - it’s a really nice place to stay at. ”

“Looking for an escape from busy Thai cities? Look no further. This gorgeous hotel lays in the tranquil hills near Chiang Mai. A lot of effort has been put in the details and decor and it looks mich nicer than the pictures. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The place is clean and has comfortable beds. The only point of improvement would be to add sun beds, or something to lay down, near the pool. But all in all, I would definitely recommend this place!”

“The road and the area up to the resort are very pretty. You have to drive up a short, but steep hill to get to the hotel. It's quiet up there and you mostly hear the sounds of nature--and some relaxing music coming from the restaurant. The grounds of the hotel are very nice--with neat plants and cool antique furniture. The view from the rooms (if you get one on the second floor or the third floor) are nice and you can sit on the balcony and have a nice cup of coffee looking out over the forested mountain on the other side of the valley. The rooms are large and have a nice sitting area. Beds are really comfortable and cozy. The pool is really close to the restaurant and the views out over it are nice. Pool closes at 6:00, because it's essentially an extension of the restaurant patio. The food was AMAZING. We are vegan/veg and there was not many options for us on a meat-heavy menu, but the ones we had were very, very good. We just kept having them over and over again. ”

We got the 2 bedroom villa which was fantastic. We had dinners at our private dining room. It was such a treat and will always come back. This is my all time favorite resort in Thailand. ”
