Chantra Khiri Chalet Chiang Mai, one of Chiang Mai’s Lanna style luxury resort and restaurant was opened since May 23, 2017. From its name, Chantra is from ‘จ’ and ‘ต’ in Thai language with the meaning of prosperity while Khiri means mountain, Chantra Khiri then means prosperity on/of the mountains according to the owner/founder Kriangsak Kanrayawattanajaroen who first travelled here for a coffee and fell in love with the land with this stunning panoramic view.

“Most relaxing and pleasant stay!! The Suite was gorgeous and we had a fantastic view of the mountains. All the staff were excellent and efficient. Thank you, Eye, for making our stay so memorable. And the food at the restaurant was delicious! However, the breakfast could expand a little to include waffles ......pancakes......scrambled eggs.....eggs benedict. We love the quaint and cosy ambience. Definitely will come back!”

“Peaceful with great staffs”
“Such a nice,peaceful and unique hotel with the greaf view of the mountain.The suite room is good size,clean and well decorated with pieces of antiques. The food was wonderful as we had dinner at the hotel restaurant (which is famous for local)It was the best Mee Krached I ‘ve had in my life also nice blended water melon juice even set menu breakfast I was served a big glass of iced cappuchino.The best of all is the hotel staffs which is nice,helpful and humble with us so impressive.! Thank you for making us a wonderful stay 😍😍😍”

“Stunning views”
“This hotel is all about the mountain views - it was truly beautiful! The pool is very small and a little close to the restaurant. The restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed our meals there. There is not much to do at the hotel especially if you don't have a car. The staff were a bit uninterested in us, but overall we had a very pleasant stay. ”

“A hotel worth specially staying at. It's so beautiful. The designer has great taste, and you can see this hotel in several magazines; it's perfect for taking pictures. The hotel service is excellent. We booked three rooms, and on the first day, one room was upgraded to the second floor due to air conditioning issues. The next day, another room was upgraded because of a bathroom odor. The rooms on the second and third floors have fantastic views and very beautiful terraces. However, I also really like the outdoor living room on the first floor; it's particularly comfortable. The infinity pool in front of the hotel is stunning. We swam on a rainy day and then saw a rainbow on the mountain across. The hotel's restaurant is especially delicious. The breakfast is so abundant that you can't finish it. The staff's English is not particularly good, so you need to be patient; you can use translation software to send messages in Thai to them. They are very friendly and provide detailed service. Some of the hotel's facilities are a bit worn out, such as the furniture peeling and the wooden floors being uneven. But this does not affect my stay experience. There are two dogs, Lincoln and Trump. They come to the restaurant during breakfast time waiting for you to give them meat. They are companions for the children.”
